A large-scale Virtual Production trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds’ global launch campaign, featuring practical and virtual set design, dance choreography, a giant sword, and a real live cat (in a custom-made hat!)
The concept features an array of fans, each showing off their individual love of Monster Hunter – before coming together to share their experience. This demanded the creation of seven discrete virtual locations for this live action trailer.
We designed tailor-made Unreal environments, combining these with physical sets, while motion control facilitated a seamless, dynamic camera style. Bespoke props were created, taking care that every detail fans could see was authentic, and true to the game.
